Covid-19, minister Manastirliu: New medical staff recruited, new hospital will open

The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, today inspected the COVID3 adapted hospital in the structure of former surgeries in the QSUT hospital in Tirana, where currently the recruitment of staff has begun in preparation for a possible influx of cases.

“We are preparing the necessary human resources for the structure of COVID3 hospital, i.e. the former surgeries, and for the COVID4 hospital in the Tirana-Durrës axis. Staff recruitment and training has started. 50 employees have been added to QSUT, some have already been recruited and some are being trained “, said Manastirliu, during the inspection of COVID3 hospital.

While the responsible for human resources for the situation of the epidemic, prof. Arben Gjata said:

“We have an organized plan for inclusion of the volunteers we have on the list, the interns and some specialties will also be included, combining them with experienced doctors from other services.”
