5 more casualties have been reported by the Covid-19 coronavirus and 104 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health said that in addition to the cases identified in the field, there are new hospitalizations in both ‘Covid’ hospitals.
“We address the citizens to wear the mask indoors to minimize the spread of infection, in order to avoid hospitalization and consequently the loss of life.
“Unfortunately, 5 citizens could not win the battle with the disease in Shefqet Ndroqi Hospital and Infectious Diseases Hospital.
“A 45-year-old man from Tirana without other diseases, a 64-year-old from Tirana and a 68-year-old woman from Pogradec could not win the battle at COVID1 hospital. Whereas a 45-year-old woman from Kruja without other diseases and a 77-year-old woman from Tirana with concomitant diseases could not survive in the COVID2 hospital.
“During the last 24 hours, 564 tests were performed on suspects affected by COVID19, of which 104 positive cases were confirmed.
“The geographical distribution of cases is as follows: 60 cases in Tirana, 9 in Fier, 8 in Kruja, 7 in Elbasan, 4 cases in Berat, Kukes, 2 cases in Korca, Lezha, Pogradec, Përmet, 1 case in Shkodra , Ura Vajgurore, Malësi e Madhe, Klos.
