Greece has renewed until October 12 the restrictive travel measures with Albania, Northern Macedonia and Turkey resulting from the coronavirus situation.

According to the Greek Ministry of Health, movement restrictions remain in force for Albanian citizens who do not have a residence permit in the country or who wish to travel for tourist purposes to Greece.
Until October 12, the right to enter Greece will be only Albanian citizens with residence permits, homogenized Greeks, Greek citizens and seasonal workers.
For crossing the border, there are restrictions on the daily number of people crossing in Kakavija, 750 and Kapshtica, 300 people.
Passengers must have completed the PLF form not less than 24 hours before their trip to the country and must have a negative PCR test with them, no more than 72 hours before their trip.

All persons crossing these border points will have to stay the quarantine for 7 days.

Sources from the Greek Ministry of Health said that unlike other times, the restrictive measures will stay in place until October 12, probably awaiting their aggravation, as in Greece the cases of those affected by covid-19 have increased significantly.
