COVID-19 cases’ increase; 1153 infected and 17 victims in the last 24 hours, 606 patients in hospitals

Saturday marked a high number of daily cases and losses of life from Covid-19, where out of 3975 tests, 1153 citizens resulted positive, meanwhile 17 patients lost their lives.
The tests revealed 345 positive cases in Tirana, 110 in Durres, 109 in Fier, 65 cases in Lushnje, Vlora, 48 in Saranda, 46 in Elbasan, 37 in Gjirokastra, 30 in Shkodra, and less infections in other districts.
In the last 24 hours, 928 citizens have recovered, while 606 patients are being treated in hospitals in Tirana and two regional hospitals, 35 of which in intensive care.
The patients who lost their lives today are 4 citizens from Tirana, 3 citizens from Elbasan, 2 citizens from Vlora, 1 citizen from Saranda, 1 citizen from Durres, 1 citizen from Fieri, 1 citizen from Kruja, 1 citizen from Belshi, 1 citizen from Bulqiza, 1 citizen from Lushnja, 1 citizen from Kurbin, all aged 48-83.
The vaccination process continues to expand as 792 anti-Covid vaccinations have been carried out in the country to date, bringing the total to 4969 vaccines so far.
