Three new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the city of Berat. It is learned that two of the infected are nurses, one of whom works in the city maternity hospital.
For this reason the authorities have closed the gynecological service.
The disinfection of the premises by the Directorate of Hygiene has also started.
Infected nurses had been showing symptoms for days, but had stopped working until the coronavirus test was performed.
Epidemiologists, meanwhile, have begun work on tracking contacts.
While the third infected person is a butcher for whom there is no data yet.
