In the last 24 hours, 102 Covid-19 tests have been performed, of which 17 positive cases have been identified, respectively 8 in Tirana, 6 cases in Shkodra and 3 in Kamza.
Tirana, Shkodra and Kruja have the highest number of active cases in the country. In the last 24 hours, 19 health personnel have been tested, of which 3 have tested positive as a result of their contacts.
Dr. Eugena Tomini from the Institute of Public Health provided more details:
“Based on epidemiological data and total testing numbers we have a stable trend of the epidemic situation.
“In the last 24 hours, 102 tests have been performed, of which 17 positive cases were confirmed, respectively, 8 cases in Tirana, 6 cases in Shkodra, 3 in Kamza.
“The confirmed cases are contacts of previous positive cases and some new cases in Tirana and Shkodra are under investigation.
“In the last 24 hours, 19 health personnel have been tested, of which 3 have tested positive for contact and 1 staff member has recovered in the last 24 hours.
