Coronavirus in Albania/ 6 losses of life and 146 new cases in the last 24 hours

In the daily report, the Ministry informs that currently 115 people are receiving treatment in hospital, 16 of whom are in intensive therapy, while 5 are intubated. 79 people have been cured of the coronavirus to bring the total from the onset of the pandemic to 3695.

In a press release, Mirela Cami, Director of the Health Care Operator added:

“During the last 24 hours, 639 tests were performed on suspects affected by Covid 19, while 146 people were confirmed positive with Covid-19. The geographical distribution of today cases is as follows: 76 in Tirana, 23 in Kruja, 11 in Fier, 7 in Durrës, 6 in Kukës, 5 in Elbasan, 4 in Shkodra, 2 cases each in Kurbin, Lezha, Kamza, Malësia e Madhe, from 1 case Has, Kavaja, Lushnje, Puka, Tepelena, Bulqiza. Currently in the Infectious Diseases Hospital and ‘Shefqet Ndroqi’ 115 confirmed positive patients are being treated, 16 in intensive therapy, 5 of which intubated.”
