Coronavirus in Albania; 2 victims in the last 24 hours, 61 new cases

Meanwhile, it is learned that from the tests performed, 61 new cases have resulted. 48 patients have recovered while there are new hospitalizations with aggravated symptoms as a result of Covid-19.

The victims are a 59-year-old woman from Lushnja with chronic renal failure and other concomitant diseases, as well as a 77-year-old man from Vlora who was suffering from hypertension and was being treated for 10 days in intensive care.

The good news is that in the last 24 hours 48 citizens have recovered, bringing the number of healed since 1346 since the beginning of the epidemic.

Tests have continued at the Virology Laboratory at the IPH and in the last 24 hours 355 tests have been performed to suspect Covid19, of which 61 positive cases have been confirmed.

A significant proportion of cases are related to multi-employee enterprises. The geographical distribution of the cases is as follows: 12 in Tirana, 11 in Vlora, 7 in Durrës, 5 cases in Kukës and Divjaka, 3 cases in Puka, Korçë, Kurbin, 2 in Kruja and 1 case respectively in Shkodra, Fier, Lezhë, Has, Mirditë, Kamëz, Sarandë, Fushë-Arrëz, Selenicë, Belsh.
