The murder of Elton Cico, who was killed yesterday in Tirana, might be
related to a violent robbery against his parents last year in Tepelena.
This crime was followed by others, as revenge.
On June 8th, a 31-year-old from Laci, Robert Rama, was executed in Durres. He is suspected of being one of the attackers.
The crimes continued with a failed attempted murder in July 2015, against Ervis Imeri, who was also one of the suspects. He was then arrested as one of the robbers who took 5000 EUR from Cica’s family in Tepelena.
But his brother, Elton Ymeri, did not have the same fortune. His vehicle exploded while on the move in Kombinat, December 9th, causing him a huge damage in the lower limbs.
For all these crimes, the police has always had one suspect, the 36-year-old who was shot twice yesterday in a Tirana cafe. The killer entered the bar, hiding half of his face with a hat. He shot twice on the 36-year-old victim who was sitting on a table with three other persons, one of them a police officer.
Elton Cico was also found with a gun on him, which means he was feeling threatened.
