Bersant Celina was not playing with Twente in the match against Feynord, but once again he became a protagonist.
The Kosovo midfielder was watching the match from the stadium seats, when a group of Twente fans unfolded a banner with a Serbian nationalist slogan.
Celina intervened and the security services removed the banner.
The midfielder reacted on social networks saying that he loves Twente fans, but he has zero respect for the individuals who made that action.
UEFA’s regulation do not allow political banners on stadiums. Twente declared they are trying to identify those responsible.
