Businessman paid trip to watch ‘El Classico’; Court of Appeal decides ‘probation service’ for three judges

The Court of Appeals has accorded the measure ‘probation service’, for the three judges who were treated with a trip to watch the ‘El Classico’ match with the money of a businessman.

The appeal has appointed a ‘probation service’ for judges Kliton Spahiu, Petraq Dhimitri and Petrit Çeno.

Earlier after the marathon investigation and trial, Serious Crimes convicted judges Kliton Spahiu, Petraq Dhimitri and Petrit Çeno, as well as businessman Namik Sadik, who is accused of paying for their trip to Madrid to watch the football match.

The three Durrës Appellate Judges, Kliton Spahiu, Petraq Dhimitri and Petrit Çeno, were found guilty and sentenced to 2 years in prison suspended sentence, for the crime of corruption, while businessman Namik Sadik, accused of having paid for their trip to Madrid, was sentenced to one year in prison.

The three judges undertook a trip to Spain in October 2014 in the company of businessman Namik Sadik, the owner of a tourist resort in Durrës. This trip included watching the football match between Real Madrid and Barcelona, ​​known as the “El Classico” derby.
