Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati attended the Conference of Ambassadors
today in Tirana, where he said that Albania will keep playing a
stabilization role in the region. He expressed our will to vote in favor
of our neighbors in joining NATO.
“Albania has supported and keeps supporting the aspirations of other countries of our region that want to join NATO. Albania doesn’t see their role as a threat, but as an added value by the side of the EU and USA”, Bushati declared.
The Minister added that geo-political changes echo even in our country, and doubts after the British referendum are more than understandable. The Minister added that the Berlin Summit has given new encouragement to Balkan, while the one I Paris showed that it is up to the countries of the region to show they can make a change.
