Builders’ Association against new law for real estates

The Builders’ Association reacted regarding the amends proposed in the
law for real estates, asking a 15-day deadline for concluding the
registration of the construction permit at the Property Registration
Authority.

The association says they cannot agree with the long wait for the registration, which depends on the time when the municipality will take the documentation for registration, by blocking their permit.

“Our request is to have a 15-day deadline and proceed after it with the builders. The public administration works slower than the private one. Delays also leave room for corruption”, says the builders’ association declaration.

Builders say they have not been consulted before the law was handed over to commissions. They want a careful evaluation especially as regards the moment when buildings go under bailiff procedures, which involved even citizens who have paid for it.
