An unpleasant incident occurred today in the front yard of the Albanian Parliament before the approval of the changes in the electoral code.
DP MP Halit Valteri while an ongoing debate lost his temper and tried to hit with his fists socialist MP Damian Gjiknuri.
The pair split after the intervention of Guard staff and other paliament staff members.
After the conflict, MP Halit Valteri claimed that Damian Gjiknuri had threatened him on the phone.
“Mr. Gjiknuri is in cooperation with gangs and the extra-parliamentary opposition. I received threats from this son of dog. The threats to my family has shown that we know how to deal with this garbage that soils our shoes. The one who stole millions at the time when he was Minister of Energy and who hands out 5 million euros to a guru each time he comes and visits his wife”, said Valteri, among other things.
