Bosnia recognizes Kosovo customs stamps

Bosnia and Herzegovina has decided to recognize the Customs Stamps of the Republic of Kosovo.

The news came from Kosovo media, which say that the decision has been communicated to the Kosovo Ministry of Trade and Industry.

According to these sources, with this decision, Bosnia and Herzegovina expects Kosovo to remove the reciprocity measures for their goods.

Sources also add that the Ministry of Trade and Industry will undertake the necessary steps for responding to this decision, in full accordance with the rules established by the CEFTA Agreement.

Kosovo established the reciprocity measures after Bosnia and Serbia refused to allow in their territory goods holding Kosovo stamps.

These measures were removed for Serbia, with which was agreed to use stamps reading only “Kosovo Customs”.

Both countries are allowing trucks full of goods since this September, but there are more trucks coming from Serbia to Kosovo than vice versa.
