The FIFA President, Sepp Blatter, declared that Albania and Serbia
shouldn’t have been in the same group for the qualifying matches of
Frace 2016.
Blatter declared on “Russia Today” that a match should not be played when conflicts between countries are known.
“National football teams are the best ambassadors of countries in football. One should be very careful in competitions and try not having any matches when you know there might be a conflict”, Blatter declared, adding that this is the reason why UEFA is not allowing a match between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
