DP leader Lulzim Basha stated today through a status on Facebook that working and doing business in Albania is a daily battle with the government and its corrupt officials.
According to him, when the DP takes power “the economy will not work to enrich government officials and their clients, but will produce prosperity and new jobs.”
“Working and doing business in Albania is a daily struggle with the government and corrupt officials.
“The system that RAMA-VIRUS has set up to extort businesses, steals them 32 workdays a year to pay 35 different types of taxes and fees. This account, published by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), proves how fair is our decision to change this stifling system for every household’s economy.
“We know that our decisions go against the interests of a handful of people linked to Edi Rama’s personal power, but we will take these decisions to clear the economy of RAMA-VIRUS and free the vast majority of Albanians from depression and crisis.
“The economy will not work to enrich government officials and their clients, but will produce prosperity, creating new jobs.
“No one has the power to stop change!”, stated Basha in his message.
