Berisha threatens MP Tahiri

Three years after the incident with the Socialist MP Taulant Balla, the
Prime Minister Sali Berisha became once again protagonist of the same
type of threats, but this time with another MP from the opposition.

Today that the Prime Minister should have started showing a constructive dialogue with the opposition, as recommended by Commissioner Fule and the EU Ambassador Sequi, Berisha offended the Socialist MP Sajmir Tahiri, with an expression now common from him: “I will make your face blacker than your shoes, because I know the type of life you’ve led from your childhood and until today! I know your passport very well, for a circumstance that you know pretty well. I know you better than anyone.”

This grave incident took place when Berisha was speaking about the progress report of the European Commission by presenting the government’s objectives.

When the Prime Minister was listing the government promises, the Socialist MP, Tahiri, interrupted his speech by mentioning a lapsus made by the Prime Minister some days ago.

This was enough for Mr. Berisha to threaten another opposition MP. The first one, Mr. Balla, was threatened in 2009 when he mentioned the ties of Berisha’s son with Gerdec businesses.
