Berisha: Rama is hiding wealth

Berisha responded back to the opposition leader, who is accusing his daughter of corruption with foreign investors, by mentioning the history of a building made by the relatives of the opposition leader’s wife when he was Mayor of Albania’s capital.

Berisha declared that the truth is that his government has turned the taxes of Albanians into well-being for the citizens.

“We did everything possible to reduce taxes and make them easier for your businesses. He who is focusing on his wife’s apartment building, he would do everything to increase taxes for you. He wants Albania under his feet, so that the Albanians can work for his post”, Berisha declared.

The Prime Minister underlined the reforms and investments realized in the last years, which according to him didn’t allow Albania to fall in an economic crisis.

Besides the infrastructure, including the Tirana-Elbasan highway, the Prime Minister emphasized the policy for increasing wages and pensions.

“I know that you’re not paid for what you deserve, but you know that this government has increased wages more than any other government in Europe in a very short time. We are the change. Increasing wages and pensions is our biggest goal”, Berisha declared.

Until the June elections, what seems to remain unchanged in the DP strategy is the way how they will face the citizens’ problems.

“We are the change, because we know that every unemployed has the right to look for a job, and every poor person has the right to leave poverty behind. They turn their eyes to us, because we are the change and the other is the lie; because we are aware that we make mistakes, but we correct them; because the citizens’ interests come first for us. You come first, you will always come first, Albania comes first”, Berisha declared.
