The former Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, held a press
conference with journalists and said that the spying equipment is he
biggest scandal of the past 25 years, and appealed the Prosecution
General to investigate the attack against the state by the state itself,
just for personal revenge.

Berisha accused PM Rama of spying President Bujar Nishani, the opposition leader and the Parliament Speaker. He asked the President to request a meeting of the National Security Council.

“I appeal the President! Until the National Security Council is held! Thugs with and without uniforms are trying to take over the institution. Edi Rama has spied the President, the opposition leader, the Parliament Speaker, MPs and Ministers. They will not make it away with a violation of the Constitution”, Berisha declared.

The former Prime Minister made direct accusations and said that Ardian Cipa should be investigated.

“Ardian Cipa made threats same as Shullazi against the Prosecutors of this country. Ardian Cipa is a police officer tied with the crime. He made Genci Xhixho leave Tirana on his own vehicle. He has threatened families of justice officials. He should be investigated. The situation is alarming”, Berisha said.
