Berisha: “Let’s vote the Bureau first.”. Balla: “Berisha ruined consensus”

The Albanian former PM and former DP leader, Sali Berisha, brought his
scheme about the voting of the National Bureau of Investigations reform
and attacked PM Edi Rama as the only Prime Minister that doesn’t want
the justice reform approval.

“The first chapter of the Bureau should be an agreement that forces parties to vote every chapter of the reform. We don’t need to wait for the passing of the last mandate”, Berisha declared outside the Parliament.

When asked why he is asking for the Bureau of National Investigations, in a time when its institutions have not been formalized yet, Berisha gave this explanation.

“It is not that you pass it today, and it will enter in effect tomorrow. The sooner you pass it, the quicker it will enter in effect. Naturally, whatever we do, will require time to get completely structured. But I agree to continue with the chapters that are related to the bureau”, Berisha declared.

The Socialist Party MP, Taulant Balla, answered to Berisha and the Democratic Party.

“We agreed with Lulzim Basha in the evening, it was ruined now by Berisha. The good news last night was that we progress with four important matters. We now know who breaks the agreement”, Balla said.
