The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, visited a remote but
beautiful commune in the Elbasan district, where was inaugurated the 8
kilometers road that helps 5 communes of the area.

Berisha sees this road as a new opportunity that the citizens must use for improving their lives.

The new road, according to the Prime Minister, is a new development opportunity for the mountainous tourism, a project that remains a priority for his government and for which there will be fiscal facilities.

“Everyone who wants to invest in mountainous tourist areas will work free of taxes for 8 years. On the other hand, I appeal them to plant more nut trees. Where there are bushes, we must plant trees. Every centimeter of the ground should be used for making a profit. I know that you have had difficulties, but with the new road and the tunnel that connects Elbasan with Tirana, you will be part of Tirana’s market”, Berisha declared.

Classifying this construction as one of the kept promises, Berisha underlined the importance of completing the infrastructure throughout the country, although the opposition leader, according to him, keeps opposing the big public works and the country’s development, same as his communist predecessors.

“Let us say to this comrade, who has started to write his works, that he will soon publish the open letter for Enver Hoxha, saying him that he was able to block Albania’s EU membership. But we will continue our path, in which we will realize the dreams and the future we deserve”, Berisha declared.
