After meeting with the allies, the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, said for media outlets that the main topic of the meeting was the OSCE/ODIHR report, which, according to Basha, rejected the June 30th farce.

The report showed that Edi Rama has buried the rule of law, the economy and the money of Albanians. Our priority is to bring this situation to an end through free and fair elections”, Basha declared.
“The SP must take its responsibility for the situation that our country is facing. We are in a key moment. In a month, the European Council will decide about the EU accession negotiations. There is no chance to have the accession negotiations open if there are no free and fair elections. As an opposition, we have taken several significant steps and we are ready to offer a national platform for having the country come out of the crisis”, Basha declared.
