The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, reacted after the Commission
for Mandates postponed the decision tomorrow at 10:00 am.

Basha said that the Albanian people saw how Prime Minister Edi Rama ordered protection for Tahiri, who defended the drug traffic.

“Surveillance shows that Tahiri was taking large amounts of money to protect this gang, by even making available to them the ports and radars of Albania”, Basha declared.

According to him, this and other evidence administered by Italians were presented to the Commission for Mandates, but the protection Rama offered to Tahiri is bigger than his desire for justice. This decision, according to Basha, gives Tahiri 24 more hours to clean tracks connecting him to Rama and other officials.

“They will send people to buy the truth. Rama showed that a narco-state cannot be the state of justice. There is no justice with Rama”, Basha declare, inviting citizens to join the opposition and take their fate on their hands.  “We cannot leave the country in the hands of a mafia gang”, Basha added.
