Basha after meeting CDU/CSU official: Crisis can be resolved by early elections and provisory government

After meeting with the German Vice Chair of the German CDU/CSU Parliamentary group for Europe, the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, stood by the opposition’s conditions to have early elections without Edi Rama as Prime Minister, as their only agreement for resolving the crisis.

According to Basha, the crisis can only be resolved with a transitory government and early elections.

When asked if Germany would take on the role as negotiator for resolving this crisis, Basha didn’t give any concrete answer, but said that he DP is having daily communications with the international factor.
