The Court of Tirana left Robert Kulla for 30 days in prison. He is the
son of the notorious criminal, Nehat Kulla, arrested years ago. R.Kulla
was arrested together with his two friends, Roland Liti and Alan
Babameto, both accused of robbing a bank at the former Block area in
Tirana. His friends received the same measure.
The suspects rejected all accusations and each of them brought an alibi. Robert Kulla said the money found at his house during the arrest came from the rent of two properties he owned.
Roland Lita declared that on the robbery day he was celebrating his daughter’s birthday, and said that he had traveled to Montenegro to accompany a group of friends who were going to Germany.
The third suspect, Alan babameto, said on the day of the robbery he was in Vlore, with his relatives.
The Prosecution, on the other hand, has the fingerprints of Roland Liti on a water bottle found at the scene. The phone companies have also proven that their cell phones have been active near the crime scene during the robbery time.
The Court has rejected their alibis and Kulla was left 30 days in prison, Liti and Babameto will stay in prison until trial.
