Bangladesh officially recognized Kosovo’s independence

Bangladesh became the 114th country in the world to recognize Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state.
The Secretary of the government Cabinet, Mohammad Shafiul Alam, informed reporters this Monday for this decision. The decision comes after a proposition made by the Foreign Ministry.
The news was reported by Dhaka Tribune, and confirmed by the Foreign Minister of Kosovo, who thanked the people of Bangladesh from his Twitter account.
Just 10 days ago, Kosovo celebrated its 9th anniversary of independence from Kosovo.
USA, Germany, France, Italy, Australia and Afghanistan are among the countries that have already recognized its independence.
Only five EU countries have yet to recognize Kosov: Spain, Romania, Greece, Cyprus and Slovakia.
