After the Democratic Party leader, the Head of the Socialist Parliamentary group declared that Basha is concerned about his own problems, not about Albania.
Balla said that based on official data, 2010, when current opposition leader Lulzim Basha was Minister of Interior, was the year when Albania has seized the least amount of drug.
“2010 is the worst year for seizing heroin and cocaine in Albania, when Lulzim Basha was Minister of Interior. There has been drug, but police didn’t acted. 2 million plants of cannabis had been planted after you let the Ministry and the police didn’t intervene at all in those areas”, Balla said, adding that since 2011, there have been reports of drug transportations with airplanes, made possible by people with diplomatic status.
“Your party could be a benefit to us, but a big problem for Albania”, Balla said.
