The ARMO company employees continued their protest this Friday by
opposing the tax officers by gathering inside the rafinery and asking
them to leave the plant.
“We want them to unblock our finances so that our work can continue normally. We ask the state to unblock the situation so that we can work”, one of the employees declared.
“After the protests, the syndication will gather for further measures. Maybe even for a hunger strike, so that this problem can be resolved by favoring the jobs and the finances of the employees”, another one declared.
The representatives of the ARMO company reacted for this action: “There is no law that can block us from selling. These are open pressures against the president of the company, so that they can take shares. Why are they doing this now that their governing mandate is expiring? Our vehicles are blocked”, declared Armir Kodra, legal representative of ARMO.
The tax office has blocked every vehicle bringing oil outside the refinery, asking them for the documentation. They say that ARMO owes the state large amounts of money.
