The Democratic Party MP, Enkelejd Alibeaj, accused the former Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, of trying to hide facts about serious crimes.
For the Democratic Party, the money seized inside Orest Sota’s vehicle belongs to Saimir Tahiri.
Alibeaj said that Tahiri has also lied about his travel to Germany.
“The Democratic Party has documents showing that the administrator of Kurum, Jusuf Kurum, was not allowed to make transactions due to bankruptcy procedures. The Democratic Party has no doubts that the money belong to Saimir Tahiri, who tries to hide evidence that accuse him of international drug traffic”, Alibeaj declared.
Alibeaj also added that Tahiri’s travel to Germany may have been about drug traffic, not for a medical problem with his father, since Tahiri’s father, according to the DP, has left Germany before Tahiri went there.
