Albin Kurti in Tirana, meets with PM Edi Rama

Albin Kurti, the leader of the Self-Determination  Movement and Kosovo’s next Prime Minister, arrived today in Tirana for a meeting with PM Edi Rama.

This is their first meeting after Kurti won the elections on October 6th.  Sources say that the meeting is informal and that there will be no declaration for the media.

One of the topics that will be discussed is the creation of a special ministry with the purpose to improve the relations between the two Albanian states, and idea that Kurti also favored.

The Self-Determination Movement member, Albulena Haxhiu, said that they haven’t officially accepted these proposals, but they are certainly welcome.

“The improvement of the relations between Kosovo and Albania will be a priority of the Kurti government.
