“Skënderbej” Square in Tirana was filled this morning by thousands of Muslim believers, for the Eid Mubarak prayer ceremony.
The prayer took place at 06:20, where Muslim believers celebrate Eid Mubarak, which comes after 30 days of fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.
The ceremony began with the greeting speech of the President of the Muslim Community of Albania, Bujar Spahiu, who conveyed to those present the wishes and greetings for this day of joy for all Albanian believers.
Similar ceremonies were held in the country’s cities by Muslim believers at the end of Ramadan, the month of reflection, prayer and awareness for the teachings of the Qur’an.
