Experts explain why gas in Albania has such bad quality, although it is pricier.
The bad quality of oil, according to Altin Dorri, Chief of the Energy Department at the Tirana University, says that the bad gas is the main air polluter.
“Bad gas has many materials that block the system, filters, tubes and pumps”, Dorri says.
Oil in Albania is as pricy as in Germany and Greece. Kosovo gas stations use better quality oil, and even cheaper.
However, the Albanian authorities have not reacted to this situation.
