The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, received the Speaker of Macedonia, Talat Xhaferri.
President Meta underlined that they are looking forward to Macedonia’s NATO accession and guaranteed Speaker Xhaferri for Albania’s strong support in this direction.
Valuing the positive tendency that has been creating the name issue, Meta underlined that the stability and development of Macedonia is for the best interest of Albania and the entire region as well.
Meta expressed his trust that the Albanian language law will be approved soon by the Parliament of Macedonia, underlining that this act would help improve the inter-ethnic relations in Macedonia.
