Albania and Serbia exchange 20-25 billion ALL each year, but the balance is in favor of Serbia.
Data from the Institution of Statistics show that imports from Serbia were 15 times bigger than exports.
Albania imported 23.6 billion ALL of products from Serbia in 2014, while the export was 1.6 billion ALL.
Albania buys from Serbia energy and food, respectively with 9.7 billion and 6.5 billion ALL.
Coincidentally, Albania exports to Serbia energy and food too, although in lower levels.
The exchanges increased after 2006, when both countries signed the CEFTA agreement. But figures show that Serbian companies have benefited more from the market liberalization.
