According to weather predictions there will be raining in Albania until Thursday. Civil Emergency Agency chairman, Shemsi Prençi, warned there will be even some storms in some parts of the country, but said there is no risk the conditions will deteriorate as in Macedonia.
“Storms will be present in Kukës, Fier, Vlorë and northwest of the country, even in Tirana and Elbasan, he said, warning holidaymakers to be careful as soon as weather conditions change. “Heavy rains can storm away your umbrellas and other objects that can harm you”, Prençi said.
He acknowledged until now there have been some minor damages in agricultural land in northeast, in Kukës, where there have been also electric energy interruptions.
