Albania, Croatia and Montenegro agree for Adriatic-Ionian Pipeline of natural gas

The Foreign Ministers of Albania, Croatia and Montenegro agreed to cooperate
for the construction of the Adriatic-Ionian Pipeline and other regional
projects supported by the EU.

The meeting focused on increasing the political dialogue between the three countries, especially as regards security, economy, infrastructure, transportation, environment, tourism and energy.

Albanian Minister Ditmir Bushati valued the coordination that has been consolidated between these countries as regards security from terror attacks, and confirmed Albania’s role in the future for increasing regional cooperation in this matter.

The there ministers also coordinated their approach for the next NATO summit in Brussels, and discussed the possibility of having a joint meeting with the new US administration.

The next meeting between the three countries will be held in Durres.
