Albania and Switzerland signed two agreements for local government and economic development, with a total value of 8.2 million EUR.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Senida Mesi, met with Ruth Huber, new Chief of the Department for Eastern Europe at the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mesi and Huber discussed the Swiss support for the civilian emergency and natural disasters.
After signing the two agreements, Mesi underlined the long-term cooperation between Albania and Switzerland, focusing on two projects, considering them as very important and underlining the fact that the previous phases have been very successful.
The Albanian Deputy Prime Minister thanked Switzerland for the 2018-2021 cooperation that was presented some time ago and underlined that the long-term cooperation between both countries is clear evidence that the Siwss government is there to help and support Albania with all of its initiatives, and the latter is totally dedicated to fulfill objectives.
