Today the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj announced that he had recovered from Covid-19 after a long treatment since affected by the infection.
Veliaj has returned to his office to continue working already. During an interview with Top Channel’s Muhamed Veliu, Veliaj shared details of his confrontation with the pandemic.
Stating that he suffered blurred vision as a result of being affected by the coronavirus, Veliaj added:
“I have learned lessons from this story. I spent a lot of time at home reading, reflecting on life. ”
The mayor was asked about the rumors that he had gone to Turkey for treatment as he denied the claim, saying that he trusts the white Albanian white shirts.
“I have not been treated abroad. I have been at home for three and a half weeks”, he added explaining that the only place he could go out was the balcony.
