Actors write to EU against law for demolishing National Theater

Several actors appealed the President to not decree the law for demolishing the old theater building, which the government wants to replace with a new one.
The Alliance for the Protection of the Theater also had a meeting with the EU Ambassador to Tirana, Romana Vlahutin.
One week ago they wrote a letter to other European officials, including EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, saying that the law for demolishing the current building goes against the Stabilization-Association Agreement.
The EU Ambassador responded to them by saying that the EU is watching the case closely.
