A contingent of 250 German soldiers deployed in the Pristina
International “Adem Jashari” Airport, while the other 450 soldiers will
arrive on the days to come.
KFOR commander, Erhard Drews, declared a few days ago that 700 German and Austrian soldiers would deploy to Kosovo these days, and 250 of them have already arrived.
The news was confirmed for “Kosova Press” by Mark Stubler, from the KFOR information office, who did not specify for how long or where will these troops be deployed, saying that this is an operational matter of KFOR and it is not up to him to comment them.
450 other German and Austrian troops will join KFOR until Friday.
