This afternoon, 192 thousand doses of Chinese Sinovac coronavirus vaccines arrived at Rinas Airport in Tirana, after the agreement with a Turkish company.
According to the Prime Minister, Edi Rama, after receiving the vaccines, the aim is to vaccinate 500 thousand citizens within the month of June.
“We have provided another 1 million vaccines. We have currently contracted half a million doses within 60 days. We bring today to Tirana 192 thousand. Our target is 1/2 million citizens vaccinated within June”, writes Rama.
In Albania so far 53,992 people have been vaccinated, including health personnel, the elderly, teachers and pedagogues
