Road accidents have become another killer of Albanians as high speed, non-compliance with traffic rules have caused 165 losses of life during 2021.
The ambulances of the national emergency center report that number of accidents remains high.
“From January to the end of November there were 3,212 accidents, including those involving motorcycles and heavy duty vehicles”, says the manager Skender Brataj.
Another problem is the fact that ambulance workers or paramedics are not trained to give first aid, as in order to help the injured they say they rush to transport them immediately, but in fact damage them more, as a wrong move can cause injuries or paralysis of the injured.
Brataj announces that in the National Emergency continue the trainings of the personnel and groups that provide ambulance, who according to him are equipped with all the necessary equipment.
