The Albanian Ministry of Health announced that in the last 24 hours there have been 151 new cases and 1 loss of life as a result of Covid-19.
Authorities said that during the last 24 hours 852 tests were performed on suspected patients affected by COVID-19, of which 151 citizens affected by the virus were identified. Meanwhile 45 citizens were recovered.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows:
39 cases in Tirana, 27 cases in Durrës, 16 cases in Korça,
14 cases in Shkodra, 10 cases in Lushnje,
8 cases in Gramsh, 6 cases in Elbasan,
from 5 cases in Kruja, Mirëditë,
4 cases in Fier, 3 cases in Gjirokastra,
2 cases in Devoll, Divjakë, Kolonjë, Vora,
1 case in Kurbin, Kavaja, Berat, Mallakastër, Saranda, Patos.
They added that 192 patients are being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital and “Shefqet Ndroqi”, 19 of which are in intensive care.
A 61-year-old woman from Korça could not win the battle with the disease in the last 24 hours.
Reminding not to neglect the symptoms of COVID-19, the authorities pleaded in that case, to contact the unique National Emergency number 127.
“While through the green line 0800 40 40 you can contact the family doctor, get psychological counseling and be informed correctly about the questions you have about COVID-19.”
