Albanian authorities in cooperation with the American partners in Syria, were able to remove 13 Albanian citizens from the Al Hol camp, who have now landed in the Pristina airport, along with a number of Kosovar citizens.

Interior Ministry sources told Top Channel that the three repatriated women are Almira K. Stela S. and Etleva S.

Among the 10 children evacuated from the refugee camp are three orphaned children who had lost their parents in the fighting in Syria.

This was the fourth operation Albania is undertaking to remove the remaining Albanian children and women from the hellish camp.

The first three operations by the Anti-Terror Directorate have served to identify Albanian citizens in these camps but the immediate repatriation of all is impossible.

It is the Kurdish local authorities who give the green light to women and children who may leave the camp. Three other women and 9 other children were identified in need to be repatriated from there.

It is believed that a total of 20 Albanian women and children remain in the Syrian camps and are expected to be repatriated in the future.
