EU Ambassador: “No refugee camps as conditions for Albania’s accession negotiations”

The EU ambassador to Tirana, Romana Vlahutin, reiterated once again during her visit at the Malesi e Madhe that the EU will not set requests for refugee camps as conditions for opening EU accession negotiations.
The Ambassador said that the conditions are only about good governance and improvements of the situation in Albania.
When asked about sceptical countries, the EU Ambassador declared that the final decision is up to the 28 member countries. She didn’t exclude further conditions related to improving the situation in Albania.
