Era Istrefi receives Albanian passport

Era Istrefi, the singer born in Kosovo, known throughout the world with
her music, has received Albanian citizenship through a decree from the
Albanian President, Bujar Nishani.
Istrefi said on Top Albania Radio she was thrilled about receiving the Albanian passport, and thanked the ones who made it possible.
“I want to thank the President of Albania and the Ministries of Culture in Kosovo and Albania. Some things would have not happened without this passport. I hope I will represent my second birthplace with dignity throughout the world”, Era said.
The singer who has topped European and international classifications says 2017 will be full of music events for her, and she will release a new song very soon, together with a music video.
