Zvernec, more holiday makers

The Zvernec beach has recorded the biggest number of holidaymakers and foreigners who visit the only sand beach in Vlore.

“I gave been coming from Luxembourg to Vlore for the last six years, since my wife is Albanian. Zvernec has a very good beach but there is still work to be done for the cleaning. You can relax here and the food is very good”, one of the holiday makers delcared.

The road construction has served to connect the area with the 6 kilometer long beaches, as well as the new promenade. The illumination, the canalization and the sidewalks have also increased employment. The head of the Commune, Fredo Berberi, says that the roads were made with the revenues of the commune.

Other interventions in this area and wider are also made with the Albanian Development Fund. In this commune is situated the Narta area and the famous monastery that has turned into a destination for many foreigners who visit the Bay of Vlore.
