Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future
Referring to physics’ laws, the experts summoned in court answered to
the essential question of the January 21st trial, if Ziver Veizi is
killed by a direct or a rebound bullet.
According to Gani Jahelezi, the bullet entered the victim’s body together with two microscopic wooden particles, which means that the victim was shot by a rebound bullet.
According to the expertise, the bullet’s body was regular and not deformed when leaving the gun, but the contacts with other objects left marks on one third of its body.
The expert says that they could be able to find the distance from where the wooden particles and the bullet had hit the victim’s body only if they knew what tree did the bullet hit first.
According to the scientific calculations, the aerodynamics and air friction have pushed the wooden particles and made them travel together with the bullet.
The Court appointed December 28th as the day when expert Jahelezi will be answered by the Prosecution and lawyers, and the day when the other expert will be heard.
