Albanian Post Offices started today the distribution of year-end bonus of 5000 ALL ($45) for retirees, which is caused as a result of queues and gatherings without distance in front of the offices.
As you can see from the photos, although they wear masks, the retirees can not apply the physical distance as they stand too close to the next man.
The distribution of the reward is done by the Social Insurance Institute in collaboration with the Albanian Post and will be distributed from December 21 (today) until December 31.
Authorities call upon that they who do not need the bonus now, to withdraw it at e later period to avoid gatherings at a time of COVID-19. There are about 677 thousand citizens who benefit from the fund allocated for the reward, of 34 million dollars.
